BREAKING NEWS: TNA Talent Investigated By Homeland Security 7 August, 2008

News has just come in that a TNA roster member has been investigated by the Department for Homeland Security. Courtesy of TNAWrestling.com, we have the following information:
This past weekend, TNA Wrestling newcomer Sheik Abdul Bashir demanded that members of TNA’s Television Production staff travel to Houston, Texas, to film his latest rant on the United States. Footage from the video will air on tonight’s “iMPACT! on SpikeTV.
Bashir (dressed in traditional Iranian clothing and headdress) chose to speak out on America’s currently energy and oil problems, using Houston’s famous oil fields as the backdrop.
During the filming, a white truck pulled up, and someone identifying themselves as “security” told Bashir and the camera crew that they were not allowed to film in that area and they needed to leave immediately.
Bashir and the TNA staffers stopped filming and immediately left the area, but as they drove they were followed by two more white trucks. When they pulled off the road at a gas station, the white trucks surrounded their car. Two men in suits emerged, identified themselves as United States Homeland Security and demanded to know why Bashir and the TNA staffers were filming in front of the oil fields. They were also asked to hand over their identification and were not allowed to leave while, presumably, Homeland Security checked on their backgrounds.
After several minutes, Bashir and the TNA staffers were allowed to leave, but only after they were told their information was now on record and they might be contacted in the future regarding the incident.

Raw Recap: *NEW* World Tag Champions! 5 August, 2008

Moments ago on Monday Night Raw the dream team combination of Batista and John Cena have become the new title holders after Batista picked up the winning pinfall in Raw’s main event of the evening. Congratulations to both men on their huge win tonight!
But no doubt, this adds a whole new dynamic to their highly anticipated singles contest at the upcoming SummerSlam on PPV! How long will this reign really manage to last? It’s another one of those times where we’ll just have to sit back, wait and see!
In other Raw new; it will officially be JBL Vs. CM Punk at SummerSlam with the World Heavyweight title on the line, after JBL picked up the victory with 1 second remaining in a special stipulation handicap match. Will JBL finally be able to beat the man he calls a paper champion when the lights are on bright and the titles on the line?
Another interesting match that Adamle made for Summerslam is a winner take all match featuring Beth and Santino with both the Intercontinental AND Womens title’s on the line!!!
Also, Shawn Michaels is waiting on a doctors response, if he’s allowed to wrestle in even a limited capacity, he will be wrestling at SummerSlam – so good news for all you HBK fans out there.
As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts on these huge developments, so leave comments!

So yeah, just hold onto your hats a little longer and last months will be up.
El Santolly’s Raw Preview 4 August, 2008

Tonight we have a huge main event as the new General Manager Mike Adamle is forcing John Cena and Batista to team up and take on the World Tag Team Champions; Dibiase & Rhodes!
Cena and Batista have had their run ins of late, but have teamed up as recently as this past weekends Saturday Night’s Main Event. It will be interesting to see what kind of team they make and what teamwork they display, especially against such a well oiled unit as that of our current champs. In singles, there is no doubting that either man can get the job done, hence why they’ve main evented so many PPV’s and won so many titles in their relatively short history. But with SummerSlam on the horizon, may they get on the wrongside of one another and come up short against the Tag champs? We can only wait and see.
Aside from the mammoth match announced, it’s interesting to note that this will be the first show since the official announcement of Mike Adamle as the new GM of Raw. This is the start of the Adamle era on monday nights and should be very interesting in where he takes the show next, especially after last weeks unpredictable rollar coaster ride.
Shawn Michaels will also be on the show tonight. So for all you HBK fans out there, don’t forget! It does however beg the question, what will the maniacal Chris Jericho and his new protege Lance Cade have to say about this appearance? Don’t colour me suprised if it’s far from positive!
Speaking of Jericho, he appears to have his sights set on gold and is clearly on the hunt for the World Heavyweight Championship. Could Adamle annouce Jericho as the new #1 contender for the title to face champion CM Punk? Or will Punk’s challenger at SummerSlam be someone completely different? Hopefully we’ll know after it’s all said and done, tonight on Raw.
This is shaping up to be a must see Raw, especially as anything can happen in the WWE!
Here’s WWE’s official preview of tonights show.
SNME: Your Thoughts 3 August, 2008

With the SNME article by me still to come, just thought we’d ask you on your opinions on the latest show?
In my opinion, it was probably for teh best it was shortened to an hour, but it has to be said, it was arguably the most underwhelming Saturday Night’s Main Event in WWF/E history. For a show that has a long standing tradition of being a must-watch programme, nothing really happened at all on the show. Not even Jenny McCarthy’s heavily hyped appearance was anything to note, as she said less than what the video packages had done all night surrounding it.
So yes, what are your thoughts and feelings on the show, please comment and let us know!

OK, thought it’d be important to note that IceChris‘ laptop has gown down to broken town. So updates maybe slower than they have been, mainly as I’m not as reliable as him in creating new posts, even if I have contributed to them.
But fear not, readers! It’s being sorted ASAP and shouldn’t be a problem much longer. I’ll keep you posted until then.
Also; the SNME article will still be coming, but likely a few days later than expected. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Sting?? 1 August, 2008
Posted by IceChris in RWW, TNA, Your Thoughts.add a comment
At the end of last nights, TNA iMPACT! broadcast, viewers were left wondering as to what Sting is doing regarding the Booker T and Samoa Joe confrontation leading upto Hard Justice (August 10th).
Earlier in the show, Booker T used a black baseball bat dropped from the rafters, seemingly by Sting. The final scenes of iMPACT! showed Samoa Joe searching the rafters, to only find a single Crow sitting on the handrail.
What could this mean? No doubt our readers have views on these events, so now we turn to you for your views, with the best posts being highlighted at a later date within this post.
Has Sting really turned evil? Is it all a ploy to trick Booker? Does Sting want the TNA title?
